My taste in books is a lot better than my taste in movies. I talk about books a lot and thought this would be a good outlet, maybe. For all those thoughts I need to write out to be able to put into words. I read a whole range of books but my heart beats even faster for fantasy, re-tellings, short stories, memoirs by women, stories told in an unconventional manner, clever books, great books.
I don’t need a fast-paced plot if the characters are solid and vice versa.
My preferred genres:

- General fiction
- Literary fiction
- Short story collections
- Romance
- Memoirs
- Non-Fiction (especially feminist ones)
- Non-Superhero Graphic Novels
Genres I hardly ever read:
- Thriller
- Science Fiction
- Mystery
- Horror
- Historical Fiction
- YA & Middle Grade (not genres but age groups)
